Dear All Lagunitas Families, We have power on parts of the campus and want to get our students back in school tomorrow. We will have school on Wednesday regardless of power on the lower campus. Please send all TK - 8th grade students to school on Wednesday at the usual 8:35 start time. It's early dismissal at 2 pm since it's a Wednesday. Middle School students will start the day in their homerooms as usual, then the teachers will have access to other spaces including rooms on the upper campus where there is power. All students should dress warmly as we may not have heat in some rooms. We will have our usual Wednesday pizza lunch (though it may be cold pizza). Thank you for your flexibility this week. I know this has been a real challenge for families. I'm sorry the Valley was hit hard and that we don't have the infrastructure at school to manage without power. I'm sorry to report that the power is still out at school. We will be CLOSED again today, Tuesday, February 6. PG&E expects power to be restored tonight.

The Lagunitas School District is CLOSED today due to a power outage. No School today for any students, TK through 8.

I hope you are all safe and managing this storm. I expect school will be open tomorrow but I'm monitoring the power outage and tree situation at and around school. I'll announce tomorrow morning by 7 if school is closed. Take care!

Middle School parent Leslie Durkee will be serving up her delicious BBQ from Leslie-Ann's Table from 5 pm - 9 pm. Elementary School parent, Virgil Shaw will perform opening set from Leeward Sands from 8 pm - 11 pm. This event supports Arts, Enrichment & the 8th Grade Alabama trip! See you there!!

All School Art Show & Enrichment Hub Opening is on Wednesday, January 24 from 2-5 pm.
